THE headteacher of Highfield School says he’s “absolutely delighted” as the Letchworth GC school achieved their best ever set of GCSE results.
A total of 88 per cent of students achieved five or more GCSE grades at A*-C, up eight per cent on last year, with more than ever achieving A* and A grades.
This year’s outstanding results include Arthur Thomson, who got 11 A*s and two As, Katie Dyer with 10 A*s and three As and Oscar Farley, who achieved seven A*s, four As and a distinction in information technology.
Headteacher Ian Morris said: “These results clearly show the school is still continuing its year on year upward trend and I am absolutely delighted that so many students have done so incredibly well.”
