Letchworth headteacher Ian Morris has paid tribute to his Highfield School students on their “fantastic” performance in this year’s GCSEs.
Pupils received GCSE results this morning – and Mr Morris said it had been another year of excellent grades, despite confusion in the national picture.
He said: “These are fantastic results for the students and for the school. I am absolutely delighted that so many students across the entire ability range have done so well. These results are a credit to them and to their teachers.”
Students highlighted as having done exceptionally well include Olivia Beeson, Jasmine Blythe, Keir Bradwell, Maisy Brothers, Erica Cranko Mills, Mitzi Dabrowski, Rebecca Dougal, Madi Hawkins, Peter McMullen, Max Raso, Theo Stone and Ross Williams – who Mr Morris said had all received a string of A* and A grades.
Overall results were not available.
