Students at Letchworth’s St Francis’ College are over the moon after 100 per cent of them achieved at least five GCSEs at grade C or higher, including maths and English.
Of all the grades, 85 per cent were at B or higher, with 61 per cent at A or higher and 27 per cent at A*.
Forty per cent of girls achieved eight or more A* or A grades – a delighted Zoe Rubins received 13 A*s.
There was also a 100 per cent A* or A grade rate in art and music.
Headmistress Bronwen Goulding said: “I am very proud of our girls’ achievements. It is good to see some personal triumphs as well as the usual sweep of outstanding performances.
“The teaching and pastoral staff at St Francis’ work very hard with the girls to ensure they fulfil their potential and these results are a credit to all involved. I am delighted for them.”
