The headteacher of Hitchin Boys’ School is pleased with his pupils as they received their GCSE results this morning.

Head Martin Brown of the school based at Grammar School Walk in the town said: “I would like to congratulate all our boys on their GCSE results this year.

“We also thank the teachers and other staff who have worked so hard with the students and of course their parents who have encouraged and helped their sons throughout their school lives.”

The school has singled out for praise boys who all achieved 12 or more of the highest A/A* grades.

The talented twelve are Stepan Mysko von Schulze, Tom Livesey, Oscar Ings, Will Rodway, Tom Pickett, Sam Hnatiuk, Chris Willis, Ravi Odedra, Hamza Lone, Hee-Li Leung, and Joseph Keech.
