The hardwork of students at St Christopher School has paid off with 90 per cent of students receiving A* to C grades.
Almost half of students at the Letchworth school bagged top grades, such as Isobel Adamyk and Holly Robertson who opened their results to find 11 shiny A*s.
Headteacher Richard Palmer said: “All of the girls and boys worked incredibly hard for their exams and their independent and thorough work will stand them in good stead for the sixth form.
“It is clear that they have thrived in our co-educational and distinctive environment and that they will continue to do so.
“In addition to those gaining the top grades we have many other success stories of young people who have had their aspirations lifted and have achieved their own best.
“We congratulate them all. We have record numbers staying to study A-levels in our sixth form and we look forward to helping them all achieve their full potential.”
