Students at The Highfield School are celebrating another year of excellent GCSE results.
Headteacher Ian Morris said he was “absolutely delighted” after 70 per cent of students achieved five A*-C grades.
He said: “These are fantastic results for the students and for the school. I am absolutely delighted that so many students have done so well – despite huge turbulence in the exam system nationally. These results are a credit to them and to their teachers.”
Standout results come from:
Sophie Brown 6A*, 5A
Rebecca Condor 6A*, 5A
Amy Willetts 7A*, 4A
