STUDENTS at Hitchin Girls’ School have been praised, after improving on last year’s results.
Five or more A*-C grades, including English and maths, were achieved by 85% of students – an increase on last year.
And 57% of pupils received seven or more A*s, As and Bs.
Headteacher Frances Manning said: “We are very pleased with our GCSE results this year.
“Our students have worked extremely hard and most have achieved in line with their expected grades. We send our congratulations to them on their successes.”
