MORE than a third of all grades at Hitchin Boys’ School were A*s or As.
Amid national concerns of lower grades, pupils were delighted with their results.
More than 82% of students gained A*-C grades in both English and maths, while 80% received at least five A*-C grades, including English and maths.
Headteacher Martin Brown said: “These results are a testament to the hard work of these boys and the challenge and support from their teachers and parents.
“The boys can be justifiably proud of themselves.”
