TOY Story 3, Alice in Wonderland and Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs are just three of the film offerings for school children to enjoy for free next month.

National Schools Film Week (NSFW) launches in October across the UK and teachers are being encourage to sign up now for the event, with Cineworld in Stevenage one of the chosen venues.

Now in its 15th year, the aim of the festival is to support classroom teaching by providing schools with a powerful experience for their students that links directly to elements of the curriculum – supported by an online library of resources related to individual films and more generic topics.

Seven films will be featured in total, with one showing on each weekday.

Teachers can book their free tickets for the film week, held from Thursday, October 14, to Friday, October 22, at the Stevenage Leisure Park-based cinema, by visiting www.nsfw.org
