MANY students at Fearnhill School in Letchworth GC were jumping for joy when they opened their A-level results envelope.

Richard Cave, assistant headteacher at the school, said: "We are delighted with the performance of our students. An impressive 92 per cent have secured places in higher or further education of their choice. Many of our students did exceptionally well. We are really delighted and we have a lot of happy students. Hard work and dedication from our students and staff has paid off."

In Year 13, William Dollman achieved three As, Michaela Drake secured three As and one B, and Sam Williams and Michael Mok achieved two As and one B. In Year 12, Sarah Brand achieved two As and two Bs.
