MORE students at Highfield School than ever before achieved a clean sweep of A*s and As at A-level in what the headteacher has described as “truly great results”.
The pass rate at the school in Highfield, Letchworth GC, was 99.6 per cent for A* to E with 79 per cent of students passing at A* to C.
Top performers – each getting all A*s and As – were Laura Brookes, Jack Burchell, Nick Burstow, Daisy Doncaster, Scott Hetherington, Jan Huang, Rebekah Lomax, Chris Routledge, Connie Shorrocks, Charlotte Smith and John Wallis.
Headteacher Ian Morris said: “I’m really pleased with another set of truly great results for our students. They and the staff have worked really hard and are now bearing the fruits of their labours.”
