All students at Hitchin Girls’ School passed in every one of their A-level subjects, with 11 girls achieving straight A* and A grades.
Among them were Isolde Pryle and Emily Richards, who will both be studying medicine at the University of Cambridge.
The school in Highbury Road also highlighted Helena O’Donnell, who has gained a scholarship to study at Syracuse University in New York, USA. She will also be able to continue to pursue her rowing ambitions there.
“We are delighted with our A-level results again this year and it has been wonderful to see so many of our students progress to their desired further study or work route,” said headteacher Frances Manning.
“The changes to A-level have been challenging and have caused a level of uncertainty for this cohort of students. They have met the challenge admirably and have reaped the rewards of all their hard work and that of their teachers.”
