The head of Letchworth’s Highfield School has saluted his ‘hugely successful’ students on A-level results day, with almost all of them set for their first-choice university.
Top performers included Amy Willetts – who got two A*s and an A – Rebecca Conder, who got an A* and three As, and Isobel McLeod, who got an A* and two As.
Head Ian Morris said: “We have again seen across the board a set of hugely successful A-level results with some outstanding individual achievements. My congratulations go to all the students and my thanks to all the staff for their hard work.
“This set of results are a credit to all and will allow almost all students to go to their first choice university, including many Russell Group universities.”
The overall pass rate was not available.
