The headteacher of Knights Templar School believes the “hard work” has paid off after 35% of all grades were A* or A.
The Baldock school saw its overall A* to C fall four per cent from last year to 85 percent but all of the students achieved an E grade or higher.
Of those 20 gained straight As or A*s, an eight per cent rise on last year.
Topping the list was James Dougal who gained an impressive four A*s and an A.
Head Andrew Pickering said: “We are really pleased, especially with the students who gained straight A or A* grades. These results show how incredibly hard the group of students and the staff have worked this year.”
