Hitchin Girls’ School students break 12-year-record for top A-level results.
The girls school enjoyed a successful results day this morning with a 100 per cent pass rate, 35 per cent of students receiving A* or A grades and 84 per cent gaining A to C grades.
Five students achieved 4 A Levels at A* and A, and a further 12 gained three A-level grades at A* to A.
Headteacher Frances Manning said: “I am thrilled for this cohort of students, who have achieved our best A-level results for many years. Their success is well deserved and I am delighted that so many of them are moving onto further study in their chosen subjects.”
