And the lunch at the school in Bridge Road West featured six lucky plates linked to golden tickets won by Ronnie Harris, Honey Jackson, Bobby French, Hannah Lovelock, Jack Gale and Charlotte Hessey.
The next day the lucky winners took a trip to Stevenage-based artisan chocolate maker Le Mare Chocolat where Mick Le Mare showed off his skills, producing luscious chocolates adorned with edible art and individually airbrushed finish.

The youngsters also tried their hand at dipping truffles in chocolate and each one received a goody bag full of luxury chocolate treats.
Headteacher Usha Dhorajiwala said: “We would like to thank Mick and his wife Pat for their time, welcoming us to their home, opening their doors to their amazing chocolate workshop – and, of course, the scrumptious gifts.”

Friday also featured staff and children dressing as their favourite characters from fiction, with many creating their own costumes.
“It was great to see staff making their own costumes, showing the children that they don’t have to be expensive and at the same time can be eco friendly and fun to make,” said the head.
