PUPILS at The Nobel School in Stevenage have secured “the best ever GCSE results in the history of the school”.
Overall, 75 per cent of students achieved at least five GCSEs at grades A* to C, and 57 per cent achieved at least five GCSEs at grades A* to C including maths and English.
“They are the best ever GCSE results in the history of the school,” said delighted headteacher Alistair Craig.
“We are very pleased because we have actually exceeded the highest target set by the local authority.
“It’s due to a lot of hard work from the pupils, their parents, and staff, but also due to a lot of consistency. They have benefited from having the same overall leader all the way through.
“We are delighted with the results - they really are outstanding. We have blown away the targets, and we have got a lot of happy students.”
