Pupils at Fearnhill school, Letchworth, have achieved some of their best recorded GCSE results with over 66 per cent of students achieving five passes at grade A* to C.

Jed Whelan, Headteacher, said: “We are thrilled to recognise the significant achievements of our hard working students and staff.

“The results are due to the combination of students, staff and parents working together to ensure success.

“We are delighted to celebrate the individual success of Simi Aujla, Edward Beard, Connor Caccavale, Rebecca Cullen, Matt Hodgson, Kasun Kodituwakku, Joshvin Ramsamy and Sadie Thomson who all achieved eight A*-A grades and over.”
