A HEADTEACHER is “delighted” with his college’s record A-level results.
Both upper and lower sixth form students at Samuel Whitbread Academy have achieved record results at A-level, AS-level and BTEC, with a 99% pass rate.
Principal Robert Robson said: “I am delighted that whilst our sixth form is becoming ever more popular and expanding we have improved our results in every area.”
And head of sixth form Nishi Saran said: “There are some tremendous success stories in both years.
“As always we are delighted with the many students who have achieved at the highest level. We are also very pleased with those who have maximised their potential and are going onto university or in some cases great training opportunities and apprenticeships with companies.”
