The East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is asking patients to nominate their hospital heroes for this year’s staff awards, which are designed to recognise good practice and compassionate care.

The NHS trust, which runs three hospitals – Lister in Stevenage, New QEII in Welwyn Garden City, and Hertford County, as well as the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Middlesex – is asking patients to nominate individual staff members or teams who have gone the extra mile to make a difference.

Chief executive Nick Carver said: “We are fortunate enough to have a fantastic team and we also know our staff really value the feedback we receive from patients, which is why we’re asking people to nominate an individual or team for our Public Nomination Award.”

To make a nomination, visit enherts.org/celebration_of_excellence or email communications.enh-tr@nhs.net by September 21.
