A date heats up when a bored couple get mixed up with the mob

An overworked New York couple trying to put some spark back into their marriage get mixed up with gangsters in this comedy of mistaken identity.

When the pair (Steve Carell and Tina Fey) book into a hipster restaurant under another name, they unwittingly use that of a couple who have ripped off a Manhattan crime boss (Ray Liotta).

Now hunted by goons, the unlucky couple go on the run, improvising all manner of whacky ways to avoid a very sticky end to their date, including pole dancing, car stealing and getting involved with a high-tec surveillance operative (Mark Wahlberg).

Carrel and Fey provide some sparks in an otherwise run-of-the-mill comedy caper.
