A WOMAN had a lucky escape when the car she was driving collided with the central reservation of the A1(M) this morning (Monday).
Paramedics were called to between junctions 6 and 7 northbound at 9.05am.
Ambulance service spokesman, Gary Sanderson, said: "We believe the car had a blow-out, which caused her to collide with the central reservation and face the wrong way on the motorway."
The woman sustained minor injuries and was taken to Lister Hospital in Stevenage.
