A dozen fan-tache-tic members of staff have helped raise almost a thousand pounds by leaving the razor in the bathroom cabinet throughout November.

The 12 teachers at Knights Templar School have spent the past month growing top lip facial fuzz as part of Movember to raise money and awareness for prostate cancer.

Dominic Vallier, who is head of business at the Baldock school, said: “Apart from heading to almost £1,000 being raised, the students have been discussing the reasons for the moustaches and all teachers involved have talked about the issues raised and dealt with various questions on their chosen styles.

“A big thank you to all staff, students, parents and the community in donating to the team’s inaugural campaign.”

The teachers are clean-shaven now but you can take a look at their varying degrees of moustache success in our online gallery at www.thecomet24.co.uk. You can still donate to their cause by visiting www.moteam/kts-mo-bros.
