A specialist early years centre for children with an autistic spectrum condition has received a donation which will fund new play equipment.
Stevenage’s TRACKS Autism has received £5092.75 from Bar and Beyond.
Ana Luciuk, manager of the bar on Stevenage Leisure Park, nominated the charity and said: “The donation is from our company’s Echo Trust charity to give something back to our community. We hold regular collections at our venue and customers are always generous.
“We wanted TRACKS Autism to benefit because of its amazing support for children and their families.”
Jane Wagstaff-Smith, principal of TRACKS, said: “We are extremely grateful for this generous donation, which will make a huge difference. We’re in desperate need of a new ball pool as ours is broken and we are about to re-fit our outside area, so new play equipment will help with this.”
