A CELEBRITY cow was buttering up pupils in a bid to encourage healthy eating.
Dolly the cow, a star of the Channel Four show Big Brother Series 7, was joined by her farmer and staff from the Hitchin Waitrose store at Whitehill Junior School in Whitehill Road, Hitchin.
Fresh from milking the applause on this year's reality TV show - in which she replaced the usual flock of chickens because of bird flu concerns - Dolly was in Hitchin to show pupils what is involved in milk production and how dairy products make it to the supermarket.
