CCTV images have been released today of two men police want to speak to after a 14-year-old girl was sexually assaulted on a Hitchin path.
The young victim was attacked by an offender while walking along Pinehill Path – which connects Chiltern Road with Benslow Lane and runs along the side of Pinehill Hospital – between 9.55pm and 11pm on Monday, November 2.
Det Con Simon Mullan from Herts police’s specialist sexual offences investigation team said: “I would like to speak with these two men as they may have witnessed what happened or have vital information regarding the incident. I am also keen to hear from anyone who may be able to identify either of the men.
“I can understand how an incident of this nature would cause concern for local people however I would like to reassure you investigations so far show this to be an isolated incident.”
If you have information or recognise the men contact Herts police non-emergency number 101 quoting crime reference number G1/15./2714.
