POLICE are hoping to have a full DNA profile tomorrow of the murdered man whose severed left leg was found in a sports holdall in a field at the side of the A507 near Cottered last Sunday afternoon.
Forensic tests have been carried out on the limb at Lister Hospital, Stevenage, and investigating officers on the Herts and Beds major crime unit will hopefully be able to reveal the possible age of the victim, and features like height and weight and whether he was white or Asian.
No further searches are planned in the area to see whether any more body parts have been dumped but officers are still urging the public to try and recall if they saw anything suspicious in the area to contact the incident room immediately on 01707 354432.
