Chairman of First Arlesey Scout Group wrote to the Arlesey Town Council concerning verbal abuse from various households in Arlesey, of scouts, who delivered leaflets on behalf of the Town Council; a source of grave concern to Town Mayor, Councillor Hugh Harper. They have decided to discontinue this service. It provided the scouts with a source of funds for the Scout Group, who thanked the Town Council for their past support.
