Costa Rica full-back Bryan Oviedo has been out injured since the FA Cup match at Stevenage in January

Bryan Oviedo is in line to make his long-awaited comeback for Everton.

The Costa Rica international has been out of action for nine months since he suffered a double left fracture in a challenge with Stevenage midfielder Simon Heslop when the two sides met at the Lamex in the FA Cup in January.

The injury meant the defender missed his country’s FA Cup exploits, but he is back in the Toffees squad to face Swansea City this evening (Tuesday).

Heslop left Stevenage in the summer, but he will return to Boro on Saturday with his new side Mansfield Town.
