Decision time on elections for new governors of the Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation is edging closer, with polling starting this week.

There are 25 people ‘from all walks of life’ who have put themselves forward to be governors and help shape the way the Foundation looks after the garden city estate.

Foundation chief executive John Lewis said: “These roles are important because they reflect and represent Letchworth in the broadest sense. I urge people to take the opportunity to vote for the people who will represent them in the next five years as we deliver our next strategic plan.”

Ballot papers will be posted to all people on the Edited Register of Electors, and those who have registered directly with the Foundation to vote.

All ballot papers must be with them by 5pm on September 30, with those elected revealed by the Foundation the day after.
