A Hitchin man accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl is to face a trial by jury in December.
Shabbir Dad, 36, of Desborough Road, pleaded not guilty to two counts of sexual assault against a girl under the age of 13 when he appeared at Cambridge Crown Court this morning.
It is alleged between 4pm to 4.30pm on Friday, June 24, a 12-year-old girl was sexually assaulted in the woods opposite Watersmeet off Grove Road in Hitchin.
Dad is due to stand trial at Cambridge Crown Court on December 14.
