Tickets are still available for an ’80s disco to raise money for Stevenage’s Lister Hospital in memory of baby Darcie.
Kylie Jalil, of Haycock Round in Stevenage, gave birth to Darcie at 20 weeks, after her daughter tested positive for Edwards’ syndrome and doctors told Kylie she was ‘incompatible with life’.
Following Darcie’s death in 2014, Kylie and her husband Sol set up Darcie’s Wish and have so far raised about £25,000 to support other parents and Stevenage’s Lister Hospital.
Kylie said: “The support from people in Stevenage has been amazing.”
From 7.30pm on Saturday, October 6, at Dominate Fitness on Wedgwood Way in Stevenage, there will be an ’80s disco to raise funds towards a new bed in Lister’s bereavement suite, which will cost £4,500.
Tickets are £15 for adults – or £10 each for a group of five or more – and £5 for 2 to 12 year olds. To get yours search for Darcie’s Wish on Facebook.
