Two cyclists visited Victoria Pendleton’s gold post box last week as part of a 3,000-mile bike ride where they aim to visit every post box repainted in honour of London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games champions.
Lucas Meagor and Chris Britton arrived at the post box on the corner of Brook Street and Hitchin Road in Stotfold – Pendleton’s home town – last Wednesday, June 11, on the 12th day of a 27-day challenge to recognise the achievements of Team GB’s gold medal winners.
The pair are raising money for Sport Relief, Paralympics GB and Tree of Hope.
