A cyclist is in a life-threatening condition after a crash involving a car in Stevenage yesterday.
The incident occurred in Monkswood Way, at the junction for the Asda carpark, at around 4.40pm. Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
The cyclist – a man in his 30s – sustained life-threatening injuries and was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, where he remains at this time.
An ambulance, a rapid response vehicle, two ambulance officers and the Essex and Herts Air Ambulance attended the scene.
The driver of the Fiat 500 involved was uninjured.
