Police are appealing for witnesses and information following an attempted burglary in Hitchin.
At around 3.50pm on Wednesday, September 18, it was reported that two males knocked at an address and attempted to gain entry when the occupant opened the door.
The incident near the Park View flats, Bancroft, saw the males then flee the scene when it is believed they were accompanied by a third man.
Nothing was taken and the occupant was unhurt.
One of the males is described as white and was wearing a black puffer coat with a grey hoodie underneath.
