Stevenage remain five points from safety following a mixed set of results for rivals in League 1 on Saturday
Stevenage’s match at Crawley Town on Saturday was one of three postponed games in League 1.
Of the nine matches that did go ahead there were mixed fortunes for Boro as four of their rivals won (Bristol City, Crewe Alexandra, Tranmere Rovers and Oldham Athletic) in the battle to beat the drop but the results were such that Stevenage remain five points from safety with games in hand.
Three other teams near the foot of the table (Carlisle United, Sheffield United, Notts County) lost and one, Shrewsbury Town, drew 1-1 at home with league leaders Brentford.
