THE contentious issue of travellers sites in Central Bedfordshire will be discussed in a council meeting tomorrow (Tuesday).
Central Bedfordshire Council’s executive will meet in the Council Chambers, Shefford, at 9.30am and will debate the 26 permanent pitches suggested in the region.
In Comet country Arlesey has been put forward for 10 pitches on the land to the rear of Hitchin Road with a further four possible sites elsewhere on council landholdings.
The executive will also be reviewing council CCTV use and drafting an interim local transport plan.
The meeting is open to the public.
