GRAB a bargain this Christmas at the online police auction site Bumblebee.

The site, used by 14 forces including Hertfordshire Police to dispose of lost, found and recovered items of property, has been relaunched just in time for the Christmas rush.

The site offers dozens of items from toys to furniture and after the item has been online for a set period the highest bid wins. Some items have a starting bid of just £1.

The site coordinator Carol Rouse said: "The site has been relaunched just in time for the Christmas rush which we expect to be one of our busiest periods.

"Hundreds of items are ready to be auctioned off and regular visitors to the site are bound to bag a bargain."

Bumblebee auctions can be found at www.bumblebeeauctions.co.uk. In order to bid you will need to complete a simple registration with the payment system NoChex.
