Last Sunday was a very special day for the Church and everyone who worships and is connected with it. The morning worship was conducted by the minister the Rev Angus McCormick. In his sermon he spoke about New beginnings. The Church is a family of love and care and it is a New way of Hope for many. At the end of the service Angus was told that the Family and Church had arranged a surprise 60th Birthday lunch for him. Everyone assembled in the school room for lunch. James Rosewell, one of Angus's son-in-laws proposed a toast to Angus. The longest serving member, Mrs. Madge Hall gave Angus a gift on behalf of the Church. The wonderful time together for everyone ended with Angus cutting his birthday cake and everyone enjoying themselves. The service this Sunday will be conducted by Mrs. Sandra Galton.
