A MAN has been missing for over a month, leaving his family increasingly concerned for his life.

Richard Duckett, 62, from Redhill Road in Hitchin, has a heart condition and is without both his car and mobile phone.

He was last seen by his wife at 9.30pm on Sunday, March 12, and police are now appealing for information.

Since his unexplained disappearance, Mr Duckett has not contacted friends or family, leaving them very worried about his welfare.

He is described as white, 5'9" tall, with short brown hair and brown eyes.

He wears glasses and is of stocky build.

When Mr Duckett left home, he was wearing blue jeans, a checked shirt, a blue and navy anorak and black shoes.

"Richard has a heart condition so we are becoming increasingly concerned for his wellbeing as time goes on." said Pc Andy Gorrell from the eastern area's missing persons unit.

"He had taken a couple of weeks off work but didn't arrive when he was due back.

"If anyone knows where he is then please contact us."

Anyone who has seen Mr Duckett or knows where he may be is asked to contact the police on 0845 33 0222.
