Community celebrates

LIVE bands, stalls and more will be on offer at a community day to raise money for charity.

Broadwater Day is taking place on Sunday (September 3) between 1pm and 4pm at Shephalbury Park in Stevenage.

A spokesman said: "We will be celebrating Stevenage's 60th anniversary and the mayor and mayoress will be attending.

"We will have more than 60 stalls, live entertainment, inflatables, barbecue, refreshments and a dog show. All proceeds will be given to various charities.
