The finalised route of the first international women’s cycling tour has been revealed.
The 54.6 mile course will be the fourth stage out of the five leg event of the Women’s Tour which will pass through Comet country in May.
It will start in Cheshunt and pass through Cottered, Letchworth GC, Baldock and Little Wymondley before skirting around Stevenage and heading past Knebworth to Welwyn GC on May 10.
The race will feature the best female cyclists in the world including Hertfordshire born double Olympic Gold medallist Laura Trott who will be racing as part of the Wiggle Team, ranked sixth in the world.
