Boro boss Graham Westley has backed Mitchell Cole to rediscover the form that made him one of the most feared wingers in the Conference after his impressive display against Kidderminster on Saturday.
Cole capped a fine performance with the second goal in Boro's 2-0 win and the Stevenage chief is confident the 23-year-old is getting back to his best after a difficult start to the current campaign.
"Mitchell has been frustrating as well as frustrated," admitted Westley, who gave Cole a new two-year contract towards the end of last season. "He hasn't been at his best this year but I think he showed that if puts the workrate into the game then it will give you something back.
"He thoroughly deserved his goal and I thought it was his best performance of the season by a long chalk.
