December saw a very successful Christmas party with good food, good company, and good entertainment. Cards of congratulations have been received from members of other WIs who attended. On Wednesday, January 4 Joanne Pond welcomed 42 members to the Church Hall. Jerusalem was sung and the minutes of the November meeting were read and signed. The speaker for the evening was Zena Skinner, and her theme was Facing the Camera, she gave a most hilarious and entertaining glimpse into her TV cooking programmes, and later her involvement in Charity work for Hospitals and Hospices.
