A man found dead in a river at Clifton on Wednesday has been officially named.
Jason Cadd, 35, of Brickle Place, Clifton was discovered in The River Ivel near Stanford Lane shortly before midday. He was pronounced dead by paramedics at the scene.
An inquest opened today (Friday) to determine the cause of death. The coroner is awaiting toxicology reports and an adjournment date has yet to be fixed.
