The National Hot Rod Association held their 28th show at Old Warden Park last weekend.
Modified classic cars from across the UK gathered from Friday and all through the weekend for the event, which was open to the public on Sunday.
Renowned American hot rod and custom car builder Gene Winfield was a special guest at the event, chopping off a car roof live.
A number of the 91-year-old’s vehicles have made big-screen apperances, featuring in the likes of 1987’s Robocop and 1982’s Blade Runner, as well as small-screen appearances on shows like Star Trek.
Saturday saw the custom cars leave Old Warden and the shadow of Shuttleworth House for a cruise around the surrounding countryside.
Sunday allowed owners of pre-1972 hot rods, street rods and customs to show off their wheels to visitors during the shine ‘n’ show display.
There was also live music and trade stalls for young and old to enjoy.
