Church Services

St Peter's Church, Sunday at 9.30am, Worship All Together, and at 7pm Evensong followed by Annual Parish Meeting. On Tuesday at 7.30am there is a 30 minute Prayer Sanctuary and on Wednesday a weekly Lent Lunch at 12.30pm.

Methodist Church: Sunday Services at 10.30am and 6.30pm.

Arlesey Women's Institute: Held their AGM recently when Janey Fearn welcomed some twenty members. The committee as nominated was duly elected with Janet Fearn remaining as President, Katie Juffs as Secretary and Greta Bosworth as Treasurer. The minutes of the last AGM were read and Grate Bosworth presented the accounts for the year and both were agreed. Katie Juffs gave her report and programmes for the forthcoming year were available. In Janet Fearn's report she thanked all members of the committee for their hard work and presented Barbara Sheils with a potted plant, she will be missed after all the years she has served as a valued committee member. Lucy Rogers and Roma Turner served the tea and cakes. A game of Trivial Pursuits was played with considerable hilarity with everyone winning a bar of chocolate, finally the raffle was drawn and won by Madeline Purdon, the next meeting will be on April 11 at 7.30 in the WI Hall, the guest speaker being Ms Jackie Painter talking about Elizabeth Tilley who lived in Henlow and went to America on the Mayflower. It should be a very interesting evening as Elizabeth Tilley is an ancestor of one of the present members.
