Last week was a busy week in the life of St Michael's Church as last weekend they held another first, their Christmas tree festival. Trees from groups in the local community were decorated and displayed. Voting for best tree was fast and furious. Outright winner was the tree displayed by Merry-go-Round. The winner of the adult section was the Over 60's Coffee Morning Club, and of the children's section was Mini-M. The vicar's prize went to the Baptist Junior Church. The trees were as varied as the groups involved and to such a high standard. Keech Cottage Children's Hospice will receive a cheque for £182. Thank you, Shefford.
Carols by Candlelight: At Shefford Methodist Church, Ampthill Road on Sunday starting at 6pm.
