Leave the countryside alone. It is bad enough that the Hertfordshire countryside is being attacked by its own councillors. There is plenty of room within the existing built-up areas for the country s housing needs. It is just an easier and cheaper option

Leave the countryside alone. It is bad enough that the Hertfordshire countryside is being attacked by its own councillors.

There is plenty of room within the existing built-up areas for the country's housing needs. It is just an easier and cheaper option to 'new build'. If town planning departments and central government did their job properly there would be room for all.

The powers that be tell us we must look after the environment, re-cycle etc, then they must leave the countryside, trees etc, to make their contribution to the planet's well being.

Furthermore no council should be given rights over the future development of another, without there being some redress, at the ballot box.
