A TWELVE-year-old boy has been hospitalised after a he was hit by a car in Hitchin this morning (Monday).
Ambulance crews from Hitchin and Ampthill were called to Fishponds Road just after 8.30am after a woman in a blue Daewoo Matiz collided with the Hitchin boy.
Paramedics stabilised the boy at the roadside before taking him to Lister with an arm injury.
Police closed roads in the immediate area while the boy was treated. They were reopened at 9.45am..
